Centralise the management of a banking Group’s financial information system through a flexible structure
:: Objectives: SSB Progetti’s primary objective was to plan the setting up of a reliable and flexible structure to centralise the management of financial information for the IMI SanPaolo Group.
:: Solution: Sol-Tec collaborated with SSB Progetti in the assessment of the products available on the open market and proposed and implemented a technologically innovative solution:
- the platforms used by the data providers used up to that point had proved to be unreliable and not very expandable.
- the platform called MC2 collects the data from the information providers and offers services to the whole Group, forming the Bank's information backbone. On this backbone there is a variety of information and services offered (quotes, market news, internal news and documents, etc.).
MC2 was utilised for real-time data distribution, both for online trading systems (consumers’ use) and for Group branches (employees’ use).
