Lightstreamer is a push engine for live data distribution.
It streams real-time data to an HTML browser without the need to download or
install anything on the client. It can also enliven any client application
with streaming data, via API client libraries.
Lightstreamer's simple use of HTTP and HTTPS delivers live data in a light
and efficient manner; implements bandwidth control techniques, passes
through any proxy or firewall and updates only the selected 'pushed' HTML
data without an entire page reload.
